Interested in becoming a surrogate? There are several basic requirements to keep in mind.
- Between 21-40 years old
- Given birth to at least one child and currently be parenting at least one of those children
- Have had successful birth and pregnancy with no complications
- Reside in a surrogacy friendly state (Non Surrogacy Friendly: Nebraska, Louisiana, or outside of US)
- BMI lower than 33
-No more than 3 C-Sections
- Not on any government assistance, including: Cash assistance, Welfare, Public Housing, Section 8
- No drugs, alcohol abuse or smoking
- Have a support system who will be with you during the pregnancy
- Be able to travel for appointments
One of the most common questions we hear from women considering surrogacy is also the most human one: What will I actually be compensated for? The surrogacy industry has historically kept compensation structures vague or buried in fine print. At Nodal, we believe you deserve to understand every dollar, before you commit to anything.
